What do you expect from the world's best disc brake?

Having an expertise of almost a century in hydraulic brakes, and more than 20 years with bike brakes, we could go the easy way and simply spec the requirements that this ultimate disc brake for bikes has to meet by ourselves. But we definitely want to go to the bottom this time and we want to involve you folks out there actively into the process. What exactly do you need? What does the international pro scene want? What qualities must the world’s best disc brake have to convince both the demanding Joe Average and the passionate hardcore downhiller? Doesn’t every biker have individual wishes, according to his riding style, when it comes to the best brake in the world? A difficult question on which our MISSION PERFORMANCE will shed some light…

We have interviewed over the last months many bikers around the world on international festivals and races. We will evaluate to detail their feedbacks and those of our Crash Contest, to which we will add our expertise won over decades. Our tech mastermind "G" is evaluating thousands of different feedbacks in his MISSION PERFORMANCE LABS. It becomes more and more apparent that it is going to be incredibly difficult to produce the World’s best disc brake, as this brake must not show the faintest weakness when it comes to brake power, stability, weight or ergonomics.
